To those who are celebrating, may this holiday bring you happiness, kindness, and warmth. This is the day to show thanks for all the good that we have seen and received so far. While our people and nation have suffered greatly, we must take time to reflect and give thanks for what we still have, and what we will achieve through our sacrifices and resilience. On this day, I am thankful for the brave people of Myanmar who have endured difficult times but who never the less refuse to flag or waver, who remain strong and united, and whose spirit cannot be broken. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the friends, family, governments, non-governments and the international community who have stood together with the people of Myanmar to this day, and for all they have done for the cause of freedom and democracy. I am thankful for all that you do and all that you are. May god bless you and your loved ones.May god bless Myanmar.
Sincerely,
Dr. Sasa
Union Minister of the Ministry of International Cooperation
Spokesperson of the National Unity Government of Myanmar
Former Myanmar Special Envoy to the United Nations
